Expats send $2.71b in remittance in 29 days of June

Bangladesh's remittance inflow witnessed a 14.1 percent year-on-year growth in June, reaching $2.71 billion during the 29 days of the month.

According to the latest data, the country received $2.37 billion in remittances during the same period last year.

With the latest figure, remittance earnings in the outgoing fiscal year stood at a record $30.21 billion as of June 29-the highest ever in any fiscal year in the country's history.
