BNP, NCP and CPB Dialogue with Consensus Commission Today

The National Consensus Commission is starting dialogues with political parties to reach a final decision on the proposed recommendations of the reform commissions.   

In this sequence, the commission is scheduled to hold dialogues with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), National Citizen Party (NCP), and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) on Sunday (March 23).

The National Consensus Commission's Sunday dialogue has already begun; a meeting is underway with the State Reform Movement. The meeting started at 9:30 am at the LD Hall of the National Parliament Building. The meeting is being led by Ali Riaz, Vice President of the National Consensus Commission.

The BNP will submit its reform-related opinions to the commission at 1 pm on this day. Later, at 2 pm, the commission will sit with the National Citizen Party (NCP). Finally, at 2:30 pm, the CPB will submit its reform-related opinions to the National Consensus Commission.   

The main dialogue of the National Consensus Commission to create consensus on reform activities started last Thursday (March 20).

The commission held a dialogue with the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) as the first party. And yesterday, Saturday (March 22), the commission's dialogue was with the Khelafat Majlish.
