The National Citizen Party (NCP) organized a protest march in Dhaka on Saturday night, demanding justice over alleged post-election violence in different parts of the country. The march began at Banglamotor and ended at Shahbag after a brief rally. Party leaders and activists raised slogans against violence and called for immediate action against those responsible.

According to NCP leaders, several incidents of attacks, vandalism, and intimidation took place in Noakhali’s Hatiya upazila following the election. The party alleged that its supporters were targeted for exercising their voting rights. They also claimed that a woman was assaulted and later her house was attacked, while several others were injured during the unrest.

In their বক্তব্য, NCP demanded an impartial investigation, arrest of the accused, and adequate compensation and security for affected families. They stressed that violence against citizens undermines democracy and the rule of law. The party vowed to continue peaceful protests until justice is ensured and law and order is fully restored.
