The closing ceremony of the debate competition of the Dhaka Residential Model College Model United Nations (DRMCMUN) 2025 was held with the aim of promoting global diplomacy, reasoned discussion, and leadership development among over four hundred students from schools, colleges, and universities across the country, under the theme of advancing on the path of peace. This event took place on Sunday, October 26, in the college auditorium in the afternoon.

The chief guest of the three-day debate competition closing ceremony was Professor Hugh Giles, Coordinator of the United Nations and President and Provost of Universal College. His inspiring speech instilled new enthusiasm among young representatives and provided deep motivation towards future leadership.

Brigadier General Mohammed Zaber Hossain attended the event as the president, and the program was conducted by Zakaria Alam. Nafis Hasan Rian from the event's 'Model United Nations' (MUN) club said that through this arrangement, the importance of global peace, cooperation, and mutual respect has been highlighted. Participants in the conference took part in the activities of various United Nations committees, engaging in discussions, debates, and presenting proposals on contemporary global crises and humanitarian issues. This will play a leading role in nation-building in the days to come. The Secretary-General of the conference, Ibtisam Mahi, said that having started in 2022, UZGAIIGTG has become one of Bangladesh's most prestigious Model United Nations conferences. Each year, this conference will provide the younger generation with opportunities for global dialogue, practical experience in humanitarian values, and responsible leadership.
